Demolition of an existing care home and replacement with a contemporary apartment development of twenty-three ‘later living’ flats comprising one and two bedroom units with an associated community garden for its residents. The scheme uses a simple palette of brick, timber cladding and domestic metal roofing to produce a subtle design of respectful scale for this tight site, adjacent to an existing early C19th Grade II listed building.
