Bridgwater United Community Sports Trust is a phased masterplan providing a community sports hub and associated sports facilities for the community of Bridgwater. The concept development responds to the increasing user demands of Bridgwater Town and is anticipated to be the first dedicated women’s football stadium in Europe. Careful consideration is given to the sequencing of the phases so that facilities are delivered in a strategic manner to assist with project budget and programme. Closely linked with the success of Bridgwater United Football Club, the project aims to elevate the profile of women’s football and sports for the community.
